The Basler acA2500-20gc GigE camera with the ON Semiconductor PYTHON 5000 CMOS sensor delivers 21 frames per second at 5 MP resolution.
The ace series of GigE Vision cameras offer fantastic value for very challenging applications (e.g. microscopy, medical technology, transport technology). The acA2500-20gc contains a PYTHON 5000 CMOS sensor from ON Semiconductor. The 1″ sensor contains 2590 x 2048 pixels, and delivers up to 21 frames per second, at full resolution, all in a compact 42 x 29 x 29 mm housing.
Because the Basler ace GigE camera uses the same 29 x 29 mm footprint that has been standard on analog cameras for many years, replacement of analog cameras is easy. Some existing Camera Link cameras and IEEE 1394a or 1394b cameras with this same footprint can also be easily replaced.
With speeds of up to 751 fps and the acA2500-20gc latest CMOS sensors of the Sony Pregius and Sony STARVIS lines as well as PYTHON sensors from ON Semiconductor, the ace U represents the next evolution of the ace in the areas of sensor technology and firmware features. It offers state-of-the-art CMOS technology and interface standards combined with advanced firmware features such as PGI.
