The Basler acA2040-180kmNIR Camera Link camera with the CMOSIS CMV4000 CMOS sensor (NIR enhanced) delivers 180 frames per second at 4 MP resolution.
This NIR-enhanced camera offers increased sensitivity in the NIR range. It achieves this through the use of a thicker substrate layer that is significantly simpler and more cost effective than previous CCD technology. It opens up an entirely new world of applications for projects that require good sensitivity in the near-infrared range, with wavelengths that must measure over 850 nm. This camera offers quantum efficiency of around 40% in the 850 nm range, or about twice the efficiency of non-NIR-optimized cameras.
The acA2040-180kmNIR ace classic is the starting point of our ace series and offers
a very cost-effective and reliable camera selection, with a standard
feature set for a wide range of applications. The ace classic includes camera models with CMOS
sensors from CMOSIS, e2V and ON Semiconductor (MT line) as
well as CCD sensors from Sony. It offers a broad selection of
interfaces (USB 3.0, GigE, Camera Link) and covers resolutions from VGA to 14 MP.
