An advanced monochrome camera featuring a 12.3MP Sony IMX253 1.1″ Progressive CMOS sensor is the Omron STC-MBS123BU3V. Its global shutter allows it to capture motion-deformed images of fast-moving objects, making it ideal for precision imaging. Outstanding image quality and detail are guaranteed by the sensor’s 3.45 µm pixel pitch and 4,096 (H) x 3,000 (V) active picture elements.

With support for the Mono8, Mono10, Mono10p, Mono12, and Mono12p formats and 10- or 12-bit ADC bit widths, the STC-MBS123BU3V provides versatile data output. At 8-bit full resolution, it can reach frame rates of up to 30.5 fps. Other optimum modes include 20.3 fps for 12-bit packed output. The camera’s sensitivity of 490 Lux ensures dependable performance in low light.

A USB3.0 SuperSpeed Micro B interface that complies with GenICam and USB3 Vision® 1.0 specifications allows for seamless integration. Robust synchronization by free-run or external hardware/software triggers, horizontal/vertical image flip options, and faulty pixel repair (up to 64 pixels) are examples of advanced features.
