The latest Firefly MV camera series now has ten different appearances and interfaces to satisfy a variety of industrial vision and non-industrial vision applications, including object and pose tracking, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and extension Virtual reality/augmented reality and multi-touch interface technology.

FMVU-13S2C-CS The new USB 2.0 model uses the same CMOS sensor as the existing IEEE 1394 (FireWire) version, supports 480 Mb/s data transfer rate, and can be connected to any computer system through a high-speed USB interface.

The Firefly MV camera uses a 1/3″ wide-VGA (wide-VGA) CMOS sensor with a global shutter to transmit high-quality 752(W) x 480(H) black and white or original Bayer color images at 60 frames per second. The 2×2 binning mode makes the picture update speed up to 135 frames per second.

IEEE 1394 or high-speed USB digital interface, module or housing, and M12 mini condenser lens or C/CS lens mount are all possible configurations. A CS-mount lens holder and reversible glass/infrared filter are included in the USB 2.0 model, which is housed in a compact and light 44 x 24 x 34 mm plastic case. The module range is identical to that of the FireWire product. For eligible origin, a size of only 40 x 25 mm is a choice.
