The Point Grey Flea3 is even smaller than the original Flea camera and is designed to have the form factor of similar industry standard analog cameras. The 800Mb/s interface enables full frame rate RGB image transmission and even more cameras on the same bus. The IEEE-1394b cable with jack screws allows a more secure connection to the camera.
The completely upgraded, cutting edge Point Gray Flea3 camera arrangement expands on the achievement of the super conservative Flea2 by adding new Sony picture sensors to the line-up. The Flea3 offers a large group of new highlights, including upgraded opto-confined GPIO; an on-camera outline support; non-unpredictable client information stockpiling; new trigger modes; and improved imaging execution.

There are twelve monochrome and color CCD versions in the Point Grey Flea3 ranging from VGA to 5.0 MP. The Flea3 has the same compact, lightweight form factor as many industry-standard “ice cube” analog cameras, measuring only 29 x 29 x 30 mm and weighing just 38 grams. The Flea3 also includes a number of new features, such as improved opto-isolated GPIO, an on-camera frame buffer, and more.
