This is one of the most sensitive sensors in the IDS product portfolio and it is available in color versions. Besides its outstanding sensitivity to light in images quality with cost-effective and space-saving , the camera also has a range of other distinctive features: For example, the sensor provides two global shutter and two rolling shutter modes, which you can switch between while the camera is in operation. This makes the sensor extremely flexible if requirements or ambient conditions change.
There are also up to four areas of interest (AOI). You can use these either to check several features simultaneously or to capture
AOIs in a sequence of exposures using a wide range of different parameters.
USB 3 uEye LE – cost-effective and space-saving project camera
The U3-3240LE-C perfect and cost-effective volume camera: The USB 3 uEye LE is available in a housed version with C/CS lens mount for a great choice of lenses, wide-angled lenses included. Or alternatively, as the first proper single-board camera USB 3.0 with or without S-mount lens holder for most cost-effective lenses. Thanks to its minimal size the LE offers easy integration and hence is the perfect component for embedded systems and apparatus engineering. The single-board version also offers excellent connectivity with its 8 pin connector for 5 V power supply, trigger, flash, 2 GPIOs and an I?C bus for triggering external devices. Thanks to the same footprint as the USB 2 uEye LE it’s exceptionally easy to upgrade from USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 technology.
It is available either with the IDS Software Suite or with USB3 Vision standard.
