boA5320-150cm : Basler boost R

With a 16 MP resolution and a Sony IMX532 CMOS sensor, the Basler CoaXPress 2.0 boA5320-150cm camera captures 150 frames per second.

Basler boost

Basler boost cameras are a good choice for applications that require high data rates and resolutions and where the camera’s image data must be transferred over longer distances.

They offer a CoaXPress interface and comply with the CoaXPress 2.0 standard.

CoaXPress 2.0 offers very high bandwidths of up to 12.5 Gbps per cable. Using PoCXP, you only need one coaxial cable for both data transmission and power supply. Cables in lengths of up to 30 meters are available.

The Basler boost camera is available with up to four CXP-12 connections, several resolutions, speeds, and with sensors from leading manufacturers.

Key features of Basler Evaluation Kit and Boost cameras:

  • CoaXPress 2.0 interface for high data speeds via standard coaxial cable (75 ohms)
  • Possibility to use longer cables
  • Boost cameras are available with resolutions from 3 to 65 MP
  • Cameras with frame rates ranging from 19 to 400 fps
  • Cameras feature a global shutter
  • Interface card with the latest FPGA technology for minimal CPU load
  • Hardware-based image preprocessing
  • Precise camera synchronization
  • Lowest latencies
  • Both camera and interface card can be managed via Basler Pylon software
