The Basler acA2040-120um USB 3.0 camera with the Sony IMX252 CMOS sensor delivers 120 frames per second at 3.2 MP Resolution.
The ace series of cameras offer fantastic value. The acA2040-120um is built on the Sony Pregius IMX252 1/1.8″ sensor. It offers 3.2 MP (2048 x 1536) resolution with astounding image quality: high quantum efficiency, wide dynamic range, and extremely low noise.
When this camera is configured to use the sensor’s full resolution, it can deliver 120 frames/second (“fps”) over the USB3 interface. However, when configured to use less resolution, the frame rate will increase. As examples, 2048 x 1080 delivers 171.8 fps, and 2048 x 640 delivers 287.2 fps. (Note maximum frame rate also depends on output format, exposure time, and USB hardware.)
ace U
